Raw Unity Powerlifting Championships 17 January 2011
Hello everyone.
It is that time of the year again for the 4th Annual Raw Unity Powerlifting Championships!!!
The Raw Unity Meet was created as a way for the best raw lifters in North America to compete under a common set of rules under one roof to determine the strongest man and woman in each weight class.
The event is once again being held at the George W. Jenkins Jackson Springs Recreation Center in Tampa/Town & Country. The address is 8620 Jackson Springs Road, Tampa, 33615.
The powerlifting will start at 9:30am on Saturday and go until about 4:30pm.
The action will resume at 9am on Sunday and go until 5pm.
In addition to the powerlifting event, in an adjacent building there will be a national arm wrestling competition.
The Raw Unity Meet will ONCE AGAIN be filmed for Fox Sports Net and Xtreme Power Television. I am sure many of you saw last year’s event on television this spring, summer, and fall.
Admission to the event/expo is only $5 per person per day, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Jackson Springs Recreation Center after school children’s program. This program is run by Bill Beekley, and it is just a wonderful way to support the youth of Hillsborough County .
Food will be served all day on site. There will be a full breakfast and full lunch menu, and once again the proceeds will go to the youth after school recreation program.
Come on out this Saturday, January 22nd and Sunday, January 23rd and enjoy watching the strongest powerlifters in North America compete to see who is the strongest in each weight class.
SATURDAY, January 22nd: All Women and Men’s Lightweights
SUNDAY, January 23rd: Bench Press Competition, Men’s Middleweights, Men’s Heavyweights
